How to Install pgf software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pgf software package provides TeX Portable Graphic Format, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pgf

pgf is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pgf package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pgf *

You will get with pgf package name, version, architecture and description in a table
